Be Funky

“You have to check out this site!” my daughter-in-law told me when I asked her advice for writing blogs.  “It’s free and easy to use.”

And fun, I have to add.

Now here is where I confess, or more aptly illustrate, the extent of my mental deficiency.  I’ve been using for sometime now – mostly to crop and adjust the brightness of photos – and only just recently noticed that there is a whole sidebar of options to ‘funk’ up photographs.  Now, I’m addicted.

Since, I’m going through old photos and trying to organize my collections, many are falling prey to the BeFunky app:

Using a filter and a grunge frame, I jazzed up this rocky beach.

grungeegretI was going to discard this image of a snowy egret, but salvaged it with effects.

And my favourite of all, this classic portrait of my littlest granddaughter.

I’m just getting started.  Oh, oh.  BeFunky has premium options too, which could be dangerous.  What did we do before technology?  Seriously, this is too much fun.  Have a funky day all!

(Note:  the featured image was another one of those photographs that I was going to discard, but I like the altered version.)

Permission to write, paint, and imagine are the gifts I gave myself when chronic illness hit - a fair exchange: being for doing. Relevance is an attitude. Humour essential.
