Much has been written in praise of a tree,
the promise of roots, the elegance of branches
I am awed by a tree’s durability –
how it adapts no matter the conditions
how it bears its scars with silent grace,
remains steadfast in its presence –
no matter where I’ve travelled, the tree
is a reminder to be calm, and yet strong.
(Cee’s black & white challenge is trees. These are trees I’ve met in my travels – the featured one in Nanaimo Harbour, B.C., the second in Coon’s Bluff, AZ, and the last one locally.)
Amazing captures these are indeed 🙂

I feel the strength in these special trees you’ve met and took the moment to photograph. Love the words, “How it bears its scars with silent grace…”
