I am seeing thistle here where I am in Florida, as well…I was a little surprised..we have them in Kansas. After the hurricane here in the gulf, some have reported finding sunflowers popping up. I’m wondering if they came with some of the different crews that came and went. Could have also been from bird feeders, I guess.

I think the whole ecosystem was changed by the hurricanes. We’ve heard mumblings about things that are different.

Beautiful image of the thistle. It would make a nice notebook cover. My books arrived today. They are beautiful and the quality seems really good, bindings seem solid. Can’t wait to start writing in them!

Oh good! I’ve been wondering. I want to order some too, but have spent too much already, lol. Would they make good gifts though? Good idea about the thistle.
