Rain on Me

Stopping at a local nursery on a rainy day, I am struck by how the raindrops add extra texture to the simplest of plants.

And I think: a little water in our lives helps us grow.

Permission to write, paint, and imagine are the gifts I gave myself when chronic illness hit - a fair exchange: being for doing. Relevance is an attitude. Humour essential.

  1. Love these, I always love it after it has rained, the petrichor is one thing, but as you say, the rain drops on the plants is somehow refreshing as an image and by proximity.

  2. Pretty photos – and Oh so true – a little water does help (I was just thinking yesterday how some folks drink way too much water a they flush out oils and vitamins – I know we need some / but like how you noted a little water )
