Permission to write, paint, and imagine are the gifts I gave myself when chronic illness hit - a fair exchange: being for doing. Relevance is an attitude. Humour essential.

  1. I am ready for cooler weather! We’ve had thunderstorms roar through our area with a lot of noise and very little rain. I’ve read about other areas that have over 100 F temps and because it is so dry, forest fires are becoming more of a threat.

  2. VJ, I don’t know about you, but I grew up in North Florida. It was hot and humid and thunder-stormed almost every afternoon. I met a minor baseball player who said he played in Jacksonville, and every day it would t-storm and then stop and we would play at 7:30 pm.

I mention this as it seems to be doing the same now in North Carolina. The budding trees do not know when to bloom. Are you seeing such your way? I read recently, the Maine lobsters have migrated northward, so lobsterpeople have to travel further out. Keith
