What an outstanding shot of the starling! That is why Angry Birds is so popular! That look! At least he didn’t scream at you like my hawk did at me. LOL! 🙂

I’ve had those. Could you see my feature image this week of the Snowy Egret? It doesn’t show up on mobile but it does on the desktop. I got the same look! LOL! 🙂

Easy to ignore those egrets though – so beautiful. I’m fascinated with their hairdo’s

The hairdo…LOL! Yeah some of them are outrageous and the wind just makes them that much more appealing. 🙂

Lol. I just figured it out. It’s my camera! Just gave away how amateur I am. I love it. It’s actually my husband’s camera (he’s the camera guy) but he didn’t like it. Bought himself a Nikon D780, so I stole this one.

You might want to try raising the ISO or putting a little bird Valium in the seed. I know when they shoot bald eagles even with a $10,000 lens they use a shutter speed of 1/2000 sec.

I really am amateur, Mike. I literally point and shoot. Hubby gave me my first camera a couple of years ago. It has been wonderful therapy. Have not yet tried to work one off automatic.

I particuarly like how the black and white in first bird shows off the pattern of the feathers.

Yes. They are annoying birds, but quite remarkable designs.

I think there are a number of birds that are better to experience through photography than real life. (I’m talking about you, Mr. Seagull.)
