Anxiety burnsan acidic devouring confidence impaled –mind wanders to childhood dreamsuncovers fear’s origin. (Tuesdays, I borrow from Twitter @Vjknutson. I came across this tanka written in May/21 that seemed to match with the image I recently posted on my other blog. I decided to pair them here.)

These photos really make me feel winter. How beautiful! We had snow, and a windstorm last night,
but it was gone by this morning. The sky has been consistently white, mirroring the color in my head.
Always a treat to see your photos, VJ.

Sounds like a delightful outing – I’m a bit envious of your winter view (though bracing for possible snow here does NOT appeal, will keep us homebound as locals do not know how to drive in such.)

The first year we were in Texas there was snow at Christmas. It definitely doesn’t belong there. Everything here is geared for it, including snow tires.

It has been very grey for weeks. A few days of sunshine would help immensely. (K)

Lovely winter scenes! My husband and I went on a stir crazy drive to Vermont yesterday. We have snow, wind, and freezing rain this morning.

Vermont is so beautiful. We’ve had lots of snow overnight too, and looks like it plans on falling all day.
