Colours of Autumn

My right eye seems to be having detachment issues, so while I await a visit with the eye doc, I have not been able to get out with the camera. I did manage to capture some Fall images at a local garden centre, so here’s my submission for Lens-Artists Weekly Photo Challenge: colours of Autumn.

Permission to write, paint, and imagine are the gifts I gave myself when chronic illness hit - a fair exchange: being for doing. Relevance is an attitude. Humour essential.

      1. I agree. Certainly isn’t normal to have one eye firing and blocked, I shouldn’t think. The doc did say to come back if it gets worse or doesn’t improve. Think I will opt for a second opinion.

      2. I certainly would. And have done so in similar situations. I believe there is more “ageism” ingrained in health care for older people (esp women) than anyone wants to admit. The thing is…it’s more exhausting to advocate for yourself the older you get. And so it goes….
I hope you get some real answers. Would the doc give that advice to someone in their 40s or even 50s? I doubt it (the cynic that I am).
