Subtle, not-so-subtle,
we choose to listen
or turn away;
attempt to decode –
a look, a scent, a nuance –
Is this invitation,
judgment, or
an opening?
Seems subjectivity
interprets subtle.

The focus this week has been “subtle”. For me, it was a commitment to pay attention to my body – rest when I needed it, and attempt to achieve balance. I’m getting there.

      1. Currently in Taos NM – got her early this afternoon – for 7 nights. We had such a good time here last year that we’re repeating. Gary has a buddy here so I’m anticipating some personal time while they go hiking. (Cross your fingers for me!) It’s a town full of culture and history and art and entertainment and good food.
