I think the Texas tree is a live oak? I can’t even conceive of a tree being 1,000 years old. What a testament to its resilience!

It is a live oak. That area had been hit by hurricanes – amazing that it still survives.

I’ve got an old pot that came from my Nan. The lid and legs were broken and badly repaired quite a few times. My brother and I used to play frisbee in the living room when our parents were out! I still love that old battered pot.
