I didn’t know that bluejays eat whole peanuts! (I assume they must crack them and break them down in some way to eat them?) You got a great close-up shot. My immediate impression of your furry friends is what intelligent faces they have. I love the summertime photo. It looks like there was swimming involved.

Not sure what the jays do with the peanuts – they don’t eat them on site. We fill up the feeder and the peanuts are gone in 20 minutes – simply entertaining. The pups are definitely engaged – eager to please. My one daughter has a pool, so many family gatherings happened there – pre Covid. Thanks Liz.
