We All Start With ‘C’

A cardinal, Common merganser, covy of Common redpoll, a chickadee. For Bird Weekly’s challenge: birds that start with ‘c’.

Permission to write, paint, and imagine are the gifts I gave myself when chronic illness hit - a fair exchange: being for doing. Relevance is an attitude. Humour essential.

      1. They found your seed offerings. We’ve never had Palm Warblers in our yard until this year. We have a Pine Warbler for the first time too. An Eastern Phoebe showed up in the summer and hasn’t left either. They could easily take off as quickly as they arrived. 🙂

      2. Yay! And the Cardinal…and the Carolina Wren…and the Carolina Chickadee…and the Eastern Phoebe…just in my yard. Plus during the summer we have Brown Thrashers come hang out for a while.
