We used to have wild turkeys in our yard when we lived in Jacksonville, FL. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, VJ.

They are quite entertaining. We used to have them in our yard all the time when we lived in Wynndel, BC. They’d come up to the front window and see themselves and then start pecking at the window!

Hahaha. We had a stray in the backyard and it seemed really confused by the dogs barking- wasn’t sure which way to run.

In my area you can always tell when it’s hunting season. All the turkeys head on over to the local elementary school and the neighboring town’s high school. They’re not dumb.
