Travelling is a challenge when food allergies are a concern. While in Ottawa, we stumbled upon a The Mill Street Pub, a restaurant overlooking the river, that offered gluten-free pizza, and it was delicious!
Our youngest granddaughter, on her second birthday, preferred the watermelon to cake. There is nothing more satisfying than watching someone enjoy their food:
At one point sushi was a favourite, but now I have to be careful, and well, some sushi connoisseurs are a tad off-putting:

That pizza looks good enough to eat VJ :-). Gluten free is a real challenge when it comes to pizza. I’ve yet to taste a good one

Yes, traveling is a huge challenge when finding restaurants for those with food allergies. The gluten free issue is definitely a big one – especially with the cross contamination problem that restaurants are often unaware of. Glad you found that delicious pizza!

In October I’ll be tossing mullet to the Blue Heron who hangs around the condo. It never ceases to amaze me at the size they will choke down. Crazy!
