Subtle is:
1. not loud, bright, noticeable, or obvious in any way;
2. small but important;
3. achieved in a quiet way that does not attract attention to itself and is therefore good or clever.
Cambridge English Dictionary
Subtlety is not my strong suit. I am outspoken, exuberant, and often joke that I have to be hit over the head before I catch on when the universe is trying to tell me something.
A trip to the doctor this week has uncovered yet another infection, and a need for me to recognize my disease is relapsing. I have not been paying attention to the subtle signs my body has been offering.

So…I need to take a giant step back, cull my activities and focus on regaining balance. In other words, start listening to my body more.
Won’t you join me this week in honouring the subtle, however that has meaning for you?

Look forward to your responses.
Lovely!

The body does eventually go from the subtle to straight to the point. Hard to relax into life isn’t it. Sorry to hear the immune system is at it again. (Damn!!)
This prompt has many layers – I am choosing my favorite kind of subtle, rather than my least favorite (for a change, lol).

Can you refer me to a post that maybe describes what you are dealing with health-wise. Maybe others already know. Or maybe you don’t actually share that.
Anyway, it all sounds familiar so I’m sending love and light.
Subtle, indeed….

Thanks. I sometimes think I’ve gone about my disease too much, so I try not to dredge it up over and over, lol. Here is one on the systemic properties of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis: https://onewomansquest.org/2017/09/22/systemic-describes-mecfs/

Thanks Terri. I am reminded that this is a remitting/ relapsing disease, and unfortunately I’m on the down slide. I know you understand all too well.

I guess I drive the hammer into the head, instead of hitting nails – but can we be any different?
