“Why do you have random pictures of trucks?” my daughter asks.

“Because you never know when you might need them,” I respond.

We have our own fair share of some cars or trucks with funny and ingenious names. Not to mention that some cars are pretty nostalgic.

I’m not a fan of the rock slingers…that will be my new nickname for those beastly oil & gas trucks and farm trucks…so very apt!

Is there a group called the rock slingers, or did this trucking company have a good sense of humour?

Lol! I have no idea, would make a great band name. We have our fare share of rock slingers on Sask highways…my new motto – “I’m leavin’ this rock slinger in the dust”!

Rock Slinger is an apt name, especially if you get too close. But, it does sound like someone who rode with Butch Cassidy or was an electric guitar player in a band. Keith

I thought maybe it was a band, but had no idea. Thanks for commenting Keith. Hope your weekend is going well.
