VJ, you captured a lovely contrast of colors. Well done. Now, I will sing “Rockin’ Robin” the rest of the morning. Keith

Wonderful birding the past couple of weeks. I’ve never seen a robin build a nest. They don’t stick around here long enough to do that. They blow through, eat our berries off the trees and blow out. The goldfinches stuck around longer than normal and we got to see at least 6 males almost completely turn yellow before they fled north. Awesome shot of the osprey with dinner. 🙂

The yellow one is a goldfinch. The robin is the featured image. Thanks.

Sorry sometimes the feature photo doesn’t show on the app, I had to go directly to you blog page to see it. Thank you I thought it was a goldfinch. The eastern robins are yellow breasted, something I learned today. 😊

You’re welcome. I need to get myself out of the house as well. We’re finally warming up.

It really does lift the spirit. Hope the warmth stays, although I know it’s early yet.
