We held a garage sale this past Saturday – no small feat for two gimpy old folks. Fortunately, we had help, and as it was a town-wide event, there were many people out. Still exhausted two days later, but feeling like this squirrel with his treasure – blessed by abundance. (photo mine)

I had to Google “birr” only to realize when reading the other comments that it was a typeo. Not that I knew what “burrs” are either, so I still had to Google.

Love…and the sweet image of the deer by the field, all monochrome for the season looks like you snipped the pic in my own backyard, VJ. Next time, pop in for a cup of tea, LOL. 🥰

It was good of the deer to pose so gracefully for you. She’s a beauty.

I get mad when the deer eat my hostas, but I forgive them. 😉

Our Ukrainian guest planted 24 sunflowers along the back of the property, and watched them everyday. Then the deer came and they were gone all at once. Hard to be mad at the deer.

What a shame. But at least the deer enjoyed their treat.
While I’m thinking about it, do you think your local Ukranian community might enjoy this book? I know the publisher, and she’s very excited about it. https://piercepress.com/bookstore

Thanks. As long as the dogs don’t get near, they are interesting.

I just read that burrs were the inspiration for the invention of velcro! I agree, they are a nuisance when they get in the pet fur.

That would make sense, and yes, they can create havoc.
