It’s been far too long since I have seen the ocean and while there is some memory, I don’t think it’s strong enough to rejuvenate. But it is strong enough to beckon me to return. Soon, I hope.

Rejuvenation, indeed. The salty air and rhythmic sound of waves are relaxing and healing. When I lived in Florida, I loved to spend time at the beach. Even a stormy day had its benefits.

I agree. Watching storms build over the water – so entrancing.

We usually meet my brother and his family (my nephew drives us) at the beach for a week in the summer. Rain or shine, it’s restorative. (K)

I couldn’t agree more about the restorative power of a beach. (As long as there aren’t crowds of people.)

Rest, restoration, rejuvenation – so good. Our PNW beach days don’t always come with strong sun rays but the rhythm is restorative for sure! Beautiful, VJ!

I’m with you, VJ. The ‘steady rhythm’ of the water…my favorite thing about being at the beach. A reminder that there’s cadence to all things. Thank you, friend! 🥰
