My husband and I loved our trip to Nova Scotia to see where my grandmother had grown up and gone to university. (We did go in the summer, not the winter, though.)

It is! When I went there with my mother a number of years ago, I got to meet a cousin Eric Moore. On the family tree, he, my mother, and I share the same set of grandparents 10the generations back. Mind-blowing!
