Skies are moody things-
here above open water
emotions on display
(Photos from our recent trip to Nova Scotia. The first photo was taken en route to Lunenberg, and then second overlooking Oak Island. If any of you watch The Curse of Oak Island, yes, it’s that one. Appropriately ominous clouds set the stage. Thanks Hammad for offering this challenge. The sky is a favourite for me to photograph.)
Beautiful!

Sky is definitely moody, there’s no denying.
And they can lift up my mood in no time, just as I gaze over at your lovely captures 🙂

My husband and I loved our trip to Nova Scotia to see where my grandmother had grown up and gone to university. (We did go in the summer, not the winter, though.)

Summer is best, for sure. I didn’t know you had that connection. Such a beautiful province.

It is! When I went there with my mother a number of years ago, I got to meet a cousin Eric Moore. On the family tree, he, my mother, and I share the same set of grandparents 10the generations back. Mind-blowing!

Beautiful photos and perfect words to accompany them. I think I took in the exact same views when I was in Nova Scotia.
