It is the combination of trees and rocks and water that holds such allure for me. Here in Muskoka, it is easy to understand how artists such as the Group of Seven were inspired to capture such beauty.
The weather has been perfect for our visit on Sparrow Lake, and my body has graciously allowed me to explore. From flowering water lilies to dragonflies, this area is filled with wonder.

Water sports are the main attraction, and we are hoping to go for a boat ride tomorrow, although my host keeps threatening to get me out on the jet skis. Not sure if I’m that brave, but I enjoy watching others.

Travelling through the countryside, we came upon this local attraction, which my friends simply call: bra fence. No one is certain of the origin, but it does stir the imagination.

As the sun sets, the sky pink sky is reflected in the water, giving the whole place a storybook glow. For the moment the jet skis sit calmly in place.

Hope you had a wonder-filled week. Would still love to hear about it:

Beautiful photos. It reminds me of the train west and throughout Ontario, it was rocks, lakes and trees. You’ve captured a Muskoka holiday perfectly with your words and photos. I felt relaxed at the end…
