Upside Down

Nectar’s potency –
not diminished upside-down –
does butterfly seek
perspective, or is upright
only a human construct?

(For Cee’s Flower of the Day. Also linking up to my weekly challenge: upside-down.)

Permission to write, paint, and imagine are the gifts I gave myself when chronic illness hit - a fair exchange: being for doing. Relevance is an attitude. Humour essential.

  1. I think, as far as the butterfly is concerned, he is perfectly positioned. He gets what he needs. It is us, humans,. with a concept of perspectives so to us, used to seeing the world the way we see it, the butterfly is upside down. 🙂 Ah… do I even make sense? 🙂

  2. Ever which way is a different view, from the flower’s perspective though it probably makes no difference, the flower grows in its element, perfectly viewed from all angles.
