I dream that I am teaching again, and having assigned the class independent work, I am spending time connecting with each student to see if they are grasping the material. It’s my favourite part of teaching, and I wake up wondering if I’ll ever have that feeling again. So rewarding. It is bittersweet, growing old. […]

They can’t tell the source of the infection. Continued antibiotics, and monitoring of my blood for now. I have an ultrasound booked in a few weeks and then we’ll decide from there. Frustrating, but at least they are on it. Meantime, I feel like I have to push myself to do anything – energy is so low. Bravo for hubby who keeps cooking for me and making me eat.

Oh gosh….frustrating isn’t the least of it, I imagine. I’m now fretting (you may recall my habit of “fret ‘n pray” 🙂 ). I will focus prayers on ultrasound results–it’s hard on the body to stay on antibiotics indefinitely. I’m so grateful for Ric–I assume he’s feeling somewhat better, that he can provide comfort and nurture for you. Sending my love to you both ❤
