You’re right, V.J., this was a good way to ease the tension. (and I do remember the wax paper sandwich bags!) 🙂

The picture of the kids on the swing brings back great memories of my childhood! Running as fast as we could to able to grab a swing, as it was a thrill to see others wait for their turn! N swinging as high as high could be – like the boy in mid air!! Childhood bliss…Here’s mine – https://myheart2heart.blog/2020/04/21/cock-a-doodle-doo/

They will always be our most powerful adversaries. Each species has its “kryptonite” when it whacks other ecosystems out of balance.

VJ, your Mom’s dented pot cartoon reminded me of an old “Cathy” comic. The first pane showed the modern kitchen with all of the bells and whistles where little was cooked. The second pane showed our grandparents’ kitchens with a few pots and pans that made feasts every Sunday and nice meals every day. Keith
