Thank you. Partaking in a bit too much comfort food, I’m afraid, lol.

I am ready for cooler weather! We’ve had thunderstorms roar through our area with a lot of noise and very little rain. I’ve read about other areas that have over 100 F temps and because it is so dry, forest fires are becoming more of a threat.

Same here. Fires creeping.

That’s good. Some rainfall is predicted for tomorrow…one lives on hope.

Wilting is the name of the game these days and moving is exhausting too! Good luck with it all.

Thanks Andrea. Painters are at it now, so I’m going to take a few down days. So exhausted.

You’re welcome. It is exhausting. I’m impressed you’re taking all this on now. Take care of yourself!

It is hard to keep everything watered here. I have a tree already starting to turn and drop leaves, it always seems too soon.

Some leaves are dropping here too. Not ready.

VJ, I don’t know about you, but I grew up in North Florida. It was hot and humid and thunder-stormed almost every afternoon. I met a minor baseball player who said he played in Jacksonville, and every day it would t-storm and then stop and we would play at 7:30 pm.
I mention this as it seems to be doing the same now in North Carolina. The budding trees do not know when to bloom. Are you seeing such your way? I read recently, the Maine lobsters have migrated northward, so lobsterpeople have to travel further out. Keith

Very hot and humid here. And everything is so dry. Early in the season for that I should think.

I’ve been feeling pretty wilted this week, too. I can relate to both photos. Hopefully, the weekend will prove to be rejuvenating.

Thanks, V.J. My husband and I are going out tomorrow to check out an old graveyard by the sea.

Enjoy. Anything ‘by the sea’ sounds good right now.

Thank you. It was wonderful to get out of the car and get hit with a stiff, salt-lade breeze.
