A kidney stone, coupled with an infection has set me back five days – two trying to soldier through the pain, and three pursuing medical answers. Anyway, I’m on the mend, tired already of this foray into self-pity. Tomorrow, I keep telling myself, is a new day. (Image my own)
What beautiful photos! Orange is such a warm and happy color!

The Oriole looks quite happy in all that orange! I even love how you have the light green in the background!

We put out a special feeder for them, and they like oranges. I checked their range – they don’t go all the way west.

I know some Sask Birders (a facebook birding group I belong to) put out the oranges for the orioles but that is the east of the province. It is unusual to see them here in the SW.

Yes, oranges work. Maybe you’ll have to take a trip next summer just to see them.
