Last on Card: October

We gathered yesterday to celebrate a daughter’s birthday. My kids don’t like me to take photos, so I have to sneak them. The featured image was the sky on the way home (unedited, of course).

Can’t believe it’s now November. Where has the time gone. Just a quick update: my husband goes back in for surgery on his other knee this Friday. Poor guy – his 5th surgery in a year.

(For Bushboy’s challenge: Last on the card)

Permission to write, paint, and imagine are the gifts I gave myself when chronic illness hit - a fair exchange: being for doing. Relevance is an attitude. Humour essential.

  1. They may not like you to take photos now, but I’ll bet they’ll be glad in years to come. My kids used to complain, but now they ask me for “old” photos of them for various reasons. They know who to come to, LOL!
I hope this 5th surgery is the last. What a challenge for him and for you as well. Positive thoughts are coming your way.
