Culling through old journals, and blog posts has me feeling introspective. Pausing and processing. I feel change tugging at my edges. Time to rethink the purpose of this blog.
The camera has been tucked away until warmer weather and better health permits more exploring. In the meantime, I’m studying the art of drawing and playing with old photographs to create a different kind of art.
Hope you will join me through this transition. Can’t promise what’s ahead, but it’s always my goal to inspire and invite conversation.
Stay tuned.

I am equally intrigued with your poetry and artwork, and and always caught off guard by the painterly quality of your digitalized work. Can’t wait to see what else you are planning to cook up!
Cheers,
Julie

Good for you, VJ, and I have no doubt you will do well. I’m in the same mode with my new blog. A self-discovery of sorts.

Love the image VJ and what a great idea to work with your photographs.
Early waking had me sorting journals from 2019 when I split them into seasons of the Celtic calendar following my decision last February . February the beginning of imbolc (spring) and lasts until the end of April.
Best wishes with your endeavour. 🙂❤️

Apologies V.J for the apparent misleading wording of my early morning reply to your post which may have sounded as though all the journal sorting into seasons took place this morning.
Last 1st February I chose to follow the Celtic calendar and bought a new journal. At a later date I rearranged my old journals dating back from 1st February 2019 and at some stage I have more to sort. This morning I just handled the post February 2019 journals and have put the 2019 February, March and April journal with my new one bought on 1st February 2022. I hope to revisit the 2019 one.

This sounds interesting – and is a bit like I am feeling – motivation has escaped me so far this year but I am now picking up my camera and my sketchbook more often. I will follow your journey with interest. Enjoy your next journey in creativity.

Will there be sing-alongs?

Apparently, you have not heard me sing, or you wouldn’t be asking, lol. Likely not, but you are always welcome to drop by and keep me laughing.

Thanks Heather. Not sure where this will lead me, but a good time, since looks like I’ll be staying indoors for a while yet.
