Creating something helps me. Even house cleaning helps get rid of the winter doldrums. In other words, being busy helps. Our weather is finally springy and I love it!

Yes! We did a bit of Spring cleaning. That helped

I think cleaning declutters one’s home, as well one’s mind plus, it’s a diversion.

Yearly to the end of this short, gloomy month. (I shouldn’t tell you how spring-y our weather is here now.)
You have such a creative flood brimming in you, that it’s hard to imagine the pity, but I do understand that physical limitations can get anyone down. Hugs to you.🤗🤗

Thanks Eilene. Yes, the physical limitations do affect my ability to art

I hope that misery will fly out the window and be replaced by happier thoughts and feelings of springtime. 🌷

Art is always a good answer. Let the colours back in. Thanks for the message of resilience!

Creating something is a good way to get outside yourself. I like to cook as well. (K)

Oh, I’ll be right over for the cooking, K. (Not my forte)

I do always have leftovers, although my daughters also love to cook and we exchange food when we meet on Sundays.

Oh, you have gotten to the heart of it in just 3 paragraphs, VJ. I think creativity is becoming my go to cure. Sweat does it as well for me. Here’s to punching a hole in misery. Good luck!

I hope so. Thankfully the sun came out yesterday, which helps

I don’t mind February. Yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised by how long the days are becoming. It kind of snuck up on me! It is January that I have to push through. This year it was weaving and embroidery that filled my gloomy time.

I love the metaphors! I push through February by daydreaming about the fun my husband and I will have in the summer.

I spend Feb in anticipation of spring. It’s a shorter month so I like it more.

Thank goodness it is shorter. The end of February is seldom the end of Winter here. It likes to drag on.

Our seasons are different. So March means almost summer

“Pity is more smothering…” what an insight right there, VJ. My favorite ‘push thru’ is breath work…hands on my heart, chest, remembering to breathe and slow down. Usher the frustration OUT. It doesn’t always work, but it’s my starting place. xo to you, dear one 💕
