Wading through the muck of internalized blame, I stumble across a fault line, where the light breaks through. Old patterns are breaking up. My worth is not tied to how others feel, I realize. I am not the Queen of Everything.
For the umpteenth time, I tell myself: I am enough.
Permission granted to follow through on that knowledge.
Well said, dear VJ! I wish you continued success in rethinking what you were taught.

You are more than enough to everyone you meet and everything you do. You can’t please all the people all the time and why should you especially for those that don’t appreciate you.

Haha. Arrogant of us to think so, right?

I suppose…but it’s a title many of us don’t seek…it seems handed off and we try to wear the crown, eh? 😉❤️😉

I was at a yoga studio near my sister’s house and the sweatshirts they sold said, “You. Are. Enough.”
and then reading your post reminded me of how inspiring that was to read. Sadly the message of the world is often that we need to be more (or we are not enough – and I like how you said queen of everything – hmmmmm)
cheers to being enough
and great post, VJ

Thanks Yvette. Learning we are enough is difficult at time. It keeps popping up, it seems.
