One of our favorite blooms! We have several varieties in the yard, but the plain ol’ purple are the hardiest and our faves. I like photographing them because there is always one or two petals that seem to be “hugging” one another, and usually a little flip stub of a petal hollering for the spotlight. Spunky flowers!
