A kidney stone, coupled with an infection has set me back five days – two trying to soldier through the pain, and three pursuing medical answers. Anyway, I’m on the mend, tired already of this foray into self-pity. Tomorrow, I keep telling myself, is a new day. (Image my own)
I love these! I am particularly drawn to the white duck. He is such a pure white accented with his orange beak, it’s as if he came directly from the pages of a children’s picture book.

That’s what I think too. Hard to tell from the photo but it is actually a goose – like Mother Goose.
