An apology, dear readers, if this week’s challenge came across as glib. By “stuff“, I was referring to the incidental: a broken foot, a set of stitches, a temporary setback. In no way did I intend to imply that trauma or loss is “stuff”. Some things, with a bit of grit, can be overcome. I recognize that not everything is this simple.
Thank you to Curating Thoughts, whose powerful write illustrated the difference. I am humbled by and grateful for your words.
Thanks also to those who participated this week, and for the many kind words.

See you tomorrow for a new challenge!

I didn’t see a difficulty, I wondered that it could be varied – light or dark. Mine was a slightly heavy one.

Did I find yours? Sorry, I’ve been away a bit as the surgery turned sour. Just back on line after a week.

It matters not in light of your ghastly week, I’m surprised your here, but then, the things we enjoy are healing too. Glad you got through it VJ.

Ohh I am so sorry you felt it this way V.J. I very well got what you meant with the prompt but I when I got writing those words came out. I in fact wanted to thank you for getting my brains churning with the prompt. I myself didn’t realize those thoughts were embedded inside. I love your prompts, please keep them coming ❤️❤️

No worries. Your write hit me in a way that I realized my stuff was trivial in light of what others are suffering at the moment. It’s okay to check oneself once in a while.

I have read a lot of your work to feel that you would take any one else’s sufferings lightly 😊

Thanks for that, and you are right. Still we all can slip up at times, caught up in our stuff, don’t you think?

VJ, I never thought your prompt glib. 2020 has been a difficult time for many of us on many levels. What I love about your prompts is they allow us to reflect deeply..

I didn’t take it that way and no need for an apology. “Stuff” is just a word that can be defined in numerous ways. I felt it fitting for your dilemmas. Thank you for the mention.

You didn’t come across to me as glib at all. I did enter this challenge (this afternoon), but perhaps I was too late. My fault as it’s been taking a while to learn the new block editing. If you can, I hope you get a chance to read it. 🙂

The block editing takes a bit. I’ve added you in. Thanks for being here, and your kind comment.
