Homeschooling

We’re in lockdown again, in Ontario, Canada, and that means back to homeschooling, so Grumpa and I have offered our services a couple of days a week to oversee the studies. Not so taxing – these two are avid students. The dog, on the other hand, is not impressed.

Permission to write, paint, and imagine are the gifts I gave myself when chronic illness hit - a fair exchange: being for doing. Relevance is an attitude. Humour essential.

      1. It’s stressful. We’ve been in school since Jan. 3rd. Our Premier doesn’t see any benefit to limits on gatherings. He also turns a blind eye to the stess on our schools and hospitals. We have subs being contacted on average four calls a morning. I’m hoping there is light at the end of this long dark tunnel.

      2. I’m sorry to hear that. I know I’ve had calls – even offers of full time positions, even though I’ve been off since 2014. It feels as lives are secondary to economics. I suppose, I shouldn’t be surprised. Take care.
