I think there is a reason these secrets are guarded, just at the future is often unseeable – we need to learn to live in the present.

I had to go back and read it a second time. My sometimes wonky vision read it as professions rather than possessions. but of course professions won’t follow us either, will they. A double quandary for those of us full of who we are as well as with what we own.

I think that’s my point. If we focused more on building character and less on accumulation we would at least leave an example.
