My daughter and I are speaking again, and I am learning how generational trauma resurfaces – sometimes with a different face, and often with a new perspective.

I love that idea of our lives constantly spiraling back, revisiting not only the hard times with new opportunities to do things differently, but also the good times to savor again. Kudos to you and your daughter.

Glad to hear things are improving. I like this spiral idea even better than the circle of life one, because is suggests growth and new views on old patterns.

Fascinating – so interesting that we sometimes get the chance to face things again. You say it beautifully – it can have a different face and new perspective. Glad you two are talking again!
