Rising Fire

Had my second ozone/UVH/Glutathione treatment yesterday.  This time there was no surge of physical energy, in fact, I felt quite tired afterwards,
although my heart tended to race most of the day, interrupting any attempts at rest.

Of course, it could be the onrush of rage I feel at the fall out with my daughters, or the fact that my husband is going to go through major heart surgery today, or perhaps that the treatment is indeed restoring my “yang” energy as the doctor has promised.

Whatever the reason, I awoke this morning with Adele in my head:

There’s a fire starting in my heart,
reaching a fever pitch, it’s bringing me out of the dark….”

Permission to write, paint, and imagine are the gifts I gave myself when chronic illness hit - a fair exchange: being for doing. Relevance is an attitude. Humour essential.

  1. Glad to see your treatment is progressing. What is UVH? I can’t find a definition on Google. L-Glutathione is on my list of supplements to start. It is recommended by both Blum and Myers. Started D-Ribose this week to support mitochondrial energy production. Thinking of Ric today and you as you deal with the threat of losing him.

    1. UHV could be the wrong acronym (brain still not functioning to par, lol.) It’s Ultra-violet light therapy, part of the Ozonotherapy and Glutatione IV.
Mitrochondrial dysfunction is one of things this new doctor is targetting as well. Look out world, if we two women get our energy back!
